# Governance Overview

Zether USD (USD.Z) will be governed through a **Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO)**, which gives token holders voting rights on the following:

* **Reserve Management Policies:** Token holders will vote on how the reserves backing USD.Z are managed, ensuring long-term stability.
* **Chain Expansions:** Governance will guide which chains USD.Z should integrate with, expanding its reach across multiple ecosystems.
* **Treasury Allocations:** The community will decide how funds in the USD.Z treasury are spent to promote growth and development.
* **Integration Incentives:** The DAO will determine the incentives for platforms and businesses to integrate USD.Z.
